Marilyn Hofmann Teacher, Pre-K to 4-year-olds (Foxes) Marilyn is veteran childcare professional. Before coming to TLC Preschool in August, she taught at North County Christian School for several years. Prior to that, she helped out with her neighbor’s in-home daycare. She loves the flexibility she has to shape the curriculum to each student’s needs and to ensure that all of the students are having fun at TLC Preschool. “My favorite thing to do with the kids is “getting their wiggles out,”” said Marilyn. “The children dance around, shake their arms… It’s a fun way to get ready for nap time.”

Cindy Kuczka Afternoon Teacher Cindy Kuczka always knew she was meant for childcare. Now, TLC Preschool’s students are benefiting from her many years of experience and her degree in childcare! It’s no wonder the kids love Miss Cindy. You can find her down on the floor and playing pretend with the kids, and when the weather is nice, she takes them outside to get to know their environment. Her favorite things about TLC Preschool are the kids and the perceptive things they say.

Janice White Teacher’s Assistant Janice White may have retired as a registered nurse (RN), but she never gave up caring for others. Married 46 years with four kids, eight grandkids, six great-grandkids and many years working in the neonatal intensive care unit (NICU), she provides expert love and compassion. To her, the teachers’ care and attention for each child is what sets TLC Preschool apart from all the rest. Her favorite part of working at TLC is being the “school grandma.”
